Decades after the fall of the Berlin Wall, pop singer Marco Hoffmann has reached the peak of his popularity. Then the ex-frontman of the GDR rock combo “Die Kosmonauten” is suddenly accused by his former band colleague Volker Hinze of being the “IM Sänger” who betrayed him to the german “Stasi” at the time. The conspiratorial meeting of the former blood brothers becomes a life and death dispute.
